What is the QTIC Digital Adaption Program?

Am I eligible for the rebate?
You're eligible if your business meets all of these criteria:
- Operates in Queensland's tourism or hospitality sector
- Has fewer than 200 employees
- Has not previously claimed this rebate
- Processes invoices regularly (Lightyear is ideal for businesses processing 20+ invoices per month)

What are the critical deadlines I need to know?
November 21, 2025: This is the deadline to apply to the QTIC Tourism Business Digital Adaption Program. You must submit your application through the Grant Toolbox by this date.
December 15, 2025: This is the deadline to submit your rebate claim after purchasing your Lightyear subscription.
Important: We strongly recommend applying to the program as soon as possible to allow time for approval and to complete your purchase and rebate claim before December 15.
Is Lightyear completely free with the rebate?
125 Credit Plan - $1,740/yr. You pay $0 in the first year.
250 Credit Plan - $2,940/yr. You pay $440 in the first year.
500 Credit Plan - $4,788/yr. You pay $2,288 in the first year.
1000 Credit Plan - $9,108/yr. You pay $6,608 in the first year.
2000 + Credit Plans - $17,148/yr.+ Save $2,500 in the first year against each plan.
All plans include local customer support via email, telephone and live chat. Onboarding services are not included.
Can I upgrade my plan later?
Once you take out your Lightyear plan, you will be contracted to this for 12 months. However, if you need to increase your credit consumption, we do offer overage as a solution. Your overage will be charged at the current credit price of your plan (E.g. 125 credit plan - overage charged at $1.16 per credit consumed over 125 credits) and billed at the end of your 12-month contract.
If you wish to upgrade your plan after the 12 months, we would be happy to help you select a more appropriate plan for your operational needs.
What happens after my first 12 months?
After your first year, you'll continue on your chosen Lightyear plan at the standard annual rate. Most customers find the ROI is so significant (average $18,000 in annual savings) that the subscription pays for itself many times over.
You'll have the option to:
- Continue with your current plan
- Upgrade or downgrade based on your needs
- Cancel if the solution isn't working for you (though our customer satisfaction rating is over 95%!)
There's no long-term contract obligation beyond your first 12 months.
How long does the rebate application take?
The process typically takes:
Program Application: 5-10 business days for QTIC to review and approve your application to the Tourism Business Digital Adaption Program
Lightyear Setup: Same day – once you're approved for the program, we can get you started with Lightyear immediately
Rebate Claim Processing: Approximately 10 business days after you submit your claim documentation with your Lightyear invoice
Total timeline: Plan for about 3-4 weeks from start to finish. This is why it's critical to start your application NOW, especially with the November 21 deadline approaching.
What if I miss the November 21 deadline?
Unfortunately, if you miss the November 21 deadline to apply to the QTIC Tourism Business Digital Adaption Program, you won't be able to access the $2,500 rebate for Lightyear through this program.
However, that doesn't mean you can't still benefit from Lightyear! We offer:
