Processing Tab Visual Updates

Processing Tab Visual Updates

We're making some visual enhancements to the Lightyear processing tab. This will make our next generation extraction tool - Smart Extract - more accessible and present your extracted information in a more intuitive way.

What are the changes?

To give you a better idea of what to expect we have added a before and after below to show the changes.

The smart extraction tile has been removed as this will be the default extraction method used on new documents if a map is not identified in Lightyear. In this area, you will still be able to search for a map or request a new map.

Once your data has been extracted via Smart Extract, you will have the option to view the information at a line-item, service or summary level. You will also be able to toggle between Smart Extract, maps, or manual entry depending on your preferences. If you experience a issue with your extracted data, you can click "Report issue" to flag errors to our team for review.

How does this help me?

  • Easier and quicker to find or request a map
  • More intuitive view of your Smart Extracted data with the option of lines or summary
  • Easier switch between Smart Extract, maps, or manual entry depending on your preferences
  • Better understanding of when to use a map vs Smart Extract
  • Quick way to flag data issues

When will this take affect?

You will see these visual updates when we launch Smart Extract+ into beta testing. We anticipate this to be December 2024.
