We improved the quality of your data.
Smarter, more reliable data was our biggest goal for 2023, so we introduced some exciting new features and improvements.
- Smart Extract: Process one-off, hand written or poorly scanned documents automatically.
- Additional fields: Map more data including customer number, vendor number, line discount, weight and custom fields.
We enhanced your account security.
Increased security was a top priority. We added new ways to protect your Lightyear account.
- Mobile app authentication: A new way to authenticate user logins.
- Enterprise SSO: Giving you the ability to log into Lightyear using existing credentials.
- ISO 27001: An upgrade to our internal security processes to means we are now one of a few companies with the 2023 accreditation. This ensures your data is as secure as possible.
We upgraded your user experience.
We listened to your feedback and introduced a more dynamic way of viewing your data in Lightyear with visual updates.
- Toggling: Switch between 1, 2 or 3 panels in the approvals and purchase order tabs for more streamlined viewing.
- Visual Improvements: Slicker visuals and better layouts now give Lightyear a refreshed look.
We introduced faster ways of working.
Giving you easier and faster ways of working is what we strive for. We're always looking for ways to improve this.
- Copying text from PDF: You can now highlight and copy text directly from the PDF in your approvals tab.
- Copy coding: Matched invoices can copy the coding from the PO to the invoice.
We gave you more flexibility.
A cloud-based solution is all about having flexibility, so we made sure to deliver even more this year.
- Mobile PO's: Create PO's on the go via the mobile app.
- Automatic orders: Instantly send an email to order goods from your supplier once PO's have been approved.
- Supplier management: Move suppliers to an inactive tab once deleted. Reinstate them at the click of a button.
We expanded our integrations.
We developed even more integrations in 2023.
- Iplicit: A new API lauched for new and existing users.
- Sage Intacct: Our existing API has been further developed to integrate with Sage's Partly Exempt feature, pull the PO number on an invoice to the Reference field in Sage and use the Export Date from
- Lightyear as Posting Date in Sage.
- Netsuite: Make use of Customers or Jobs within Lightyear.
- MYOB Acumatica: Coming Soon!
