Lightyear Expands its Integration Offering to Microsoft Business Central Customers

Purchasing, Accounts Payable and Expense Management software provider, Lightyear, has announced the recent expansion of its integration offering to encompass Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a cloud-based business management solution that helps medium and enterprise-sized businesses manage their finances, sales, service, and operations.

The new integration will service new and existing Business Central customers looking to automate and streamline their Purchasing, Accounts Payable and Employee Expense processes.

This recent development now enables Lightyear users to share data between the solutions seamlessly, eliminating manual data handling and reducing the probability of errors. Enhanced automation of the accounts payable processes also provides significant cost savings by increasing admin efficiency and strengthening financial controls. Greater visibility across the business’s finances enables advanced business intelligence for decision-making and aids finance teams to close off their books faster each month.

Speaking on the new integration, Chris Gregg, CEO of Lightyear highlights, “This latest development has been in the works for some time. We could see the value in delivering a more seamless experience to our existing Business Central users and the opportunity to reach a wider audience in both our EMEA and APAC regions.

“The data sharing capabilities between systems means our customers can work more efficiently by completely removing the need for human intervention. Partnering this with our upcoming data extraction enhancement will make manual data entry is a thing of the past.”

Lightyear is set to release a major new feature enhancement to its global customer base that will change the data extraction landscape for accounts payable automation providers. Chris added, “It will change the game for finance professionals. We’re very excited about the capabilities it will bring to our customers in terms of high quality, real-time data. There aren’t many others on the market that offer this technology, so we’re keen to see the response from users.”
