Advanced Archive & Reporting is coming! 

The launch of our advanced Archive & Reporting engine is approaching (12th Aug GMT/13th Aug AEDT)

For those of you that are not aware of what to expect, here are some of the key benefits you can expect to see:

  • Pre-defined date range options in the Archive search area ... Yesterday/Today/This week/This month/This quarter/Year to date etc.
  • The ability to segment & filter Reports by document type & status.  
  • The ability to select multiple parameters in the search filters ... multiple Suppliers/GL Codes/Categories/Departments etc can be selected.  
  • New detailed Line-item reporting for Bill & Credit Note document types.    
  • New Grouped Report types by Supplier/GL Code/Category/Prod Code. (This will allow you to run consolidated reports over a period and provide a consolidated running total of the report parameter).  
  • An expanded 2,500 result set in the Panel 1 and up to 250,000 rows via the Export to csv option.  (You can now get up to 2,500 line results in the initial report inside Lightyear's User Interface.
  • And then, for large reports running more than 2,500 rows, you can click to download the result to csv, allowing for further filtering and segmentation).  
  • An expanded range of pre-defined Reports & Report Favourites, allowing you to have your most used reports at your fingertips. 
  • A new Custom Report builder, allowing you to build and save your own custom reports.  
  • More PO reports to view goods ordered but not received, goods received but not invoiced, goods received but not matched, and other PO insights.  

What to expect next?

After the release you will see an in-App notification.  Simply refresh your browser and you will have access to the new Archive & Reporting.  

Lightyear's Knowledge Base articles will be updated.

Existing Lightyear Reports will be automatically saved as 'Favourites' for you.
